Overview
The issue of reproductive health is closely linked with the abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. This is a very topical issue worldwide and especially in the Czech Republic. Some sources indicate that 75 % of Czech women drink alcohol before pregnancy, one third of these continue to drink during the first three months of pregnancy. Passive and active smoking, both before pregnancy and also during pregnancy, is also an extensive problem. In relation to illegal drugs, according to the ESPAD study, Czech adolescents are the most endangered in Europe.
Key words:
alcohol, tobacco, drugs, reproductive risk.
