Overview
Adrenal cancer is a rare type of malignity. The main risk comes from late diagnosis and the subsequent restrictions for possible treatments. A typical symptom is slow expression of Cushing’s syndrome. We present a case report of a 43-year-old female. Her problems started as face and neck swelling and mild progress soft hypercorticalism. Clinical diagnosis was late and complicated. Initially it was considered of chest or mediastinal pathology, then primary liver tumour was considered. At the time of correct diagnosis the patient’s clinical picture did not allow for radical or palliative surgical treatment. Oncology treatment (selective tumour chemoembolization) did not reduce the rapid progression of the malignant process and the patient died.
