Overview
The authors familiarise Czech readers with the diagnostic criteria of functional gastrointestinal disorders which are known as Rome two (A.D.2000). They compare these criteria with the Czech diagnostic system elaborated by the nestor of Czech gastroenterology professor Mafiatka, and which is still in use.
Key words:
functional gastrointestinal disorders – medically unexplained symptoms – diagnosis – multinational consensus – psychosomatic aspects.
