Overview
The authors present an account on occupational tropical malaria acquired during work in Sudan. The disease was most probably manifested because of discontinued chemoprophylaxis with Lariam. During a check-up examination six months after the acute attack the health status is clinically and according to laboratory tests quite stabilized. No relapse of malaria developed.
