A standard procedure of sampling, transportation, fixation and further processing for microscopi-cal investigation of lymph node biopsies is presented. It points out the importance of a perfectlystained survey section and well done immunohistochemical reactions as well as of sense of thesecond opinion for precise histopathological diagnosis.
