Overview
Descriptive prospective study on child injuries treated in four regional hospitals offers the overview of injury scope and circumstances of the accident. The results serve for general injury prevention promotion and targeted prevention activities planning. The study specify the risk activities and environments for different age groups and concentrates on home and leisure injuries which are numerous and need the medical attention very often. The conclusions emphasize the role of health professional in injury prevention.
