Overview
The authors deal with the scope and perspectives of the medical branch of pediatrics in the Czech Republic. It has been observed that with the given standards of health insurance companies, the number of pediatricians working in hospitals and in outpatient children wards is presently adequate for the needs and health state of the children and youth population.
