H. pylori infection has changed dramatically the diagnosis and treatment of upper gastroduodenal disease inchildhood and adults. H. pylori continuous to generate considerable interest in the medical community. This reviewoutlines the recent scientific knowledge concerning H. pylori and focuses on epidemiology and transmission,pathogenesis, clinical outcomes, diagnostic tests, treatment and perspectives of H. pylori infection.
