A 20-month old boy suffering from subacute panencephalitis was hospitalised at the Infectious Diseases Clinicin Hradec Králové. He died 6 months after admission. Based on history dates, laboratory examinations results andclinical course, the suspicion of subacute sclerosing panencephalitis was made. In the further course the diagnosiswas not confirmed.
