Overview
The authors describe a case of a 55-year-old patient with sarcoidosis. Skin manifestation presented as facial erythema, unusual ichtyosiform lesions on the shins, and alopecia areata. At the same time ocular and pulmonary symptoms developed. The diagnosis was first established by finding of sarcoidal granulomas in skin biopsies. The patient was successfully cured by systemic corticosteroids.
