Overview
Article reviews the recent devices and principles for skin elasticity measurement and gives list of measurement possibilities, reproducibility of the method, its existing use and reasons for objective skin measurement. Figures and text explain the function of devices, interpretation of recorded curves, phase of measurement and examples of findings in the health skin and in the skin in scleroderma. The device is presently used to measure influence of electromagnetic and light field on the skin in the scope of a research project.
