Overview
The author gives characteristics of distinct parts of the electromagnetic spectrum and their influence on the skin. Various phototherapeutical light sources, skin phototesting methods and preparation of the skin for phototherapy are described. Particular photothreapeutical methods, phototherapy indications and its side effects are included.
