Overview
The authors assessed the immunohistochemical incidence of fibronectin and the Rl-integrin chain in a group of 11 patients with erythema exsudativum multiforme in the dermis and epidermis. In the dermis they found an increased expression of fibronectin in the papillary part. An increased expression of the Rl-integrin chain (CD29) was found in the area of the hydropically degenerated epidermis.
