The authors summarize their own experience as well as experience assembled abroad with phototherapy in atopic eczema. The objective of the paper are practical recommendations, i.e. selection of correct indication and source of radiation as well as list of contraindications and undesirable effects. They draw attention to possibilities as well as limitations of phototherapy in this disease.
