A group of six female patients diagnosed with rosacea fulminans between 1992 and 1999 wascompared with cases of this relatively rare disease described in literature. The review of the casesindicates the association of rosacea fulminans with acne and emotional stress. Isotretinoin was themost effective drug used for treatment.
