Temporomandibular joint disorders are characterized by pain, limited or asymmetricmandibular movement and TMJ sounds. In as many as 70 % of patients the mentionedcomplains are caused by intracapsular derangement’s of the components of the temporomandibularjoint (TMJ) – disc displacement. Disc displacement are devided into: disc displacementwith reduction and disc displacement without reduction. This paper is the review, where aredescribed the clinical criteria for diagnostic of disc displacement are possible way of theirtreatment.
