Overview
The objective of the investigation was to compare the state of dentition in childpatients with diabetes type 1 in the course of the nineties. On comparison of the DMF, DI, GIand CI indexes in 1988, 1995, 1997 and 1999 a significant increase of the number of teeth withuntreated caries was found but an improved standard of oral hygiene.
