Overview
The authors present an account on surgical treatment of posttraumatic defectsof alveolar processes of the jaw. They treat the defects by free autogenic bone inlay grafts andintraooseal dental implants of Straumann Co. The bone grafts are fixed in a prepared bed bymeans of titanium miniscrews. The modified alveolar process with the inserted implants makesit possible to prepare a functionally and aesthetically feasible fixed prosthesis.
