Overview

The case of male patient in whom consciousness disturbance (delirium) was the initial symptom of brain tumor is described. The additional mental and neurological features and symptoms of intracranial hypertension as well had been progressivelly appearing. The psychiatric symptoms appear after the neurological symptomps are fully presented in most cases. The possibility of brain tumor is necessary to consider also in chronic psychiatric and neurological patients. The brain imaging methods are the first line diagnostic tools.
