The paper analyzes the opinions of physicians and pharmacists on selected problems of drugs in theCzech Republic and confronts their attitudeswith those of physicians and pharmacists in the SlovakRepublic. Of 525 distributed questionnaires, 424 (80.8 %) were returned and 419 were processed.The questionnaire aimed to evaluate drug consumption, assortment of drugs (EPMP, OTC), financialcontribution of patients to the cost of drugs, and cooperation between the physician and pharmacist.
