The aim of this paper was to prove by help of questionnaire the psychosocialproblems in 26 adult patients operated for strabismus.We stated that the biggest difficulties of patients occurred by work and sportactivities.Thepatientswithdiplopia alsocomplainedof difficultieswithuncertainorientation, walking on steps and by locating the objects. The uncertainty bycommunication was also a great problem.The surgery fulfilled the expectations by 18 patients (69 %), 8 patients (31 %) weredissapointed.
