We invite you to watch a webinar dedicated to the topic of nutrition in old age. The impetus for its creation was the fact that from September 1, 2020, physicians specializing in geriatrics are allowed to prescribe outpatient sipping to ensure early nutritional intervention for malnourished patients.

The topic was prepared by Dr. Božena Jurášková, PhD., and the webinar is divided into two parts:

  • the first part focuses on the importance of vitamins and trace elements in old age.
  • The second part deals with nutrition in old age as such and the new possibilities of prescribing enteral nutrition by geriatricians.

The lecture is a certified course that includes a test, and upon its successful completion, the participant is awarded a certificate with 2 credit points from the Czech Medical Chamber. It was created under the auspices of the Czech Gerontological and Geriatric Society. The partner of the project is NUTRICIA.

If you are interested in more information on the issue of nutritional care for geriatric patients or the possibilities and conditions of prescribing, do not hesitate to contact us.

Link to the accredited webinar can be found here
A non-accredited and registration-free version of the webinar can be found at e.nutricia.cz.
