Overview
Introduction:
Complex intraarticular fractures of distal radius constitute uphill therapeutic problem. In the past, importance of these fractures was often underestimated, thats why almost 40 percent of pacients achieved unacceptable outcomes.
Results and conclusion:
Complexicity of this fractures frequently does not permit prompt selection of right therapeutic solution, so mainly in the case of fractures AO C3 is tendency toward 2 step solution. Exactness of reposition of articular surface is much more appropriate by arthroscopic controll, which is more sensitive as classic fluoroscopy and simultaneously allows assessment of associated carpal lesions.
Key words:
complex intrarticular fractures of distal radius, internal fixation.
