The study describes Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) and its implementationin diagnostics of hearing loss in very young children. In order to apply successfully this techniqueit was essential to prepare the necessary technical equipment and to gain practical experience withits use. 20 children with bilateral severe hearing impairment aged from two to threes years wereexamined using this method. Statistical evaluation of results indicated sufficient reliability of theVRA method.
