Overview
The authors present an example of successful treatment of frontoethmoid mucoceleby an endonasal endoscopic approach. Indication for this approach is endonasal access to themucocele. Marsupialization of the sac under endoscopic control makes decompression and sub-sequent elimination of clinical complaints possible. The rapid regression of complai nts, minimalsurgical traumatization and the mild postoperative course are the basic advantages of this appro-ach. During the postoperative period long-term care of the patency of the nasal communication isnecessary.
