Overview
Article points at the significance of values in the health care. The concept of the value is considered and problems of value judgments in their meaning for the health care are explained. Author reflects namely three humanitarian values: the dignity, equity and solidarity as well as the tools for strengthening of value orientation in the European health care. In the conclusions attention is given to the value orientation and perspectives of the health policy in the Czech Republic.
