Overview
Apathy is a frequent syndrome in people in long-term care. It is important to diagnose it early and provide treatments. This article presents Czech version of a scale for measurement of apathy and its psychometric properties. The aim of the article it to alert long-term care workers to presence of apathy in their residents, and to promote timely treatments that may increase their quality of life.
