Quality of life of residents in facilities for seniors

Overview
Quality of life has proven to be an important variable in the interaction between humans and disease. The goal of this work is to assess the quality of life for seniors, where we wanted to see how these people evaluate key areas of their lives. The study group consisted of 183 residents of homes for the elderly with institutional care. For data collection we used the WHOQOL-Bref. Correlations of all WHOQOL-BREF domains questionnaire and questions about the quality of life and satisfaction with health were significant. 49 % men and women assessed their quality of life as good and 40 % men and 38 % of women were satisfied with their health. The strongest correlation quality of life is a psychological health. Another strong correlation is the domain of physical health.
