Overview
The aim of the article is to outline the most common and clinically important ENT diseases with pain as the main symptom, and to emphasise the differential diagnostic forethought for individual disorders. It is a short compendium of ENT diseases (diseases of the nose and sinuses, oral cavity, ear, intracranial complications and diseases of salivary glands). This review stresses the need for interdisciplinary cooperation to correctly interpret clinical findings.
