Overview
Carcinoma of the larynx along with pharyngeal carcinoma represent the most frequent malignant tumors in otolaryngological practice. In the treatment of laryngeal carcinoma surgery continues to play a decisive role. The author presents a review of surgical options in the therapy of less developed tumors in their first and second stages (as monotherapy), as well as in the treatment of advanced stages in combination with postoperative actinotherapy.
