Malignant tumours of the colon are, due to their frequency and shift to younger age groups, no doubt, one ofthe dominant problems of contemporary oncosurgery. Accurate and early diagnosis in patients with minimal complaints is the basic condition of successful treatment. The authors present an account of systemic care of patients with this serious diagnosis under conditions in the Faculty Hospital Motol.
