Overview

The authors submit basic information on possibilities of detection of anti-Borrelia antibodies and conditions of their interpretation. Contemporary diagnostics focus in particular on indirect methods using specific antigens. The authors emphasize above all the need of a comprehensive approach to the assessment of Lyme borreliosis.
