At the time of hospitalization the girl suffered repeatedly fromintermittent sudden inspiratory stridor, developing and disappearing very quickly, without a major change ofgeneral appearance. Laboratory findings were normal, throat and nose swabs were without pathogens, thepulmonary radiological finding was normal, allergy testing for the most common allergens were negative.Sonography did not prove gastrooesophageal reflux.
