Overview

Cardiovascular morbidity and mortality still remain one of the main actual problems of modern medicine. Latterly, raising amounts of data are published on evaluation of abdominal aortic calcifications using DXA as a new independent risk predictor of cardiovascular morbidity including ischemic stroke.
