A Kompartment syndrome of a limb is a serious condition tkat can cause severe disability or even loss of the limb. We describe a tase of a healthy 16-year-old girl with a fracture of the right patella who developed a Kompartmenx syndrome of the calf immediately after spínal anaesthesia. Pathophysiology of this complication and prudent anaesthetic approach for trauma of limb in young persons is evaluatd.
